reticulated corrugated plates. Instead of welding, the metal wire
gauze structured packings are fixed to the wall with nails or
rings. Its structure can not only change the distribution of
liquid, but also improve the transfer efficiency.
2.The role of structured packing in high vacuum distillation column
The main advantage of metal wire gauze structured packings is that
even under very small liquid load, the separation efficiency is
very high, the pressure is reduced, and the liquid retention is
small, so it is very suitable for distillation of heat sensitive
products. (including extractive distillation, azeotropic distillation and
salt distillation) according to whether the additive in the mixture
is added to affect the vapor-liquid balance. If the distillation process is accompanied by distillation, there
are two types of chemical reactions called reactive distillation.
