Materials of construction are a key consideration for maximizing
the service life of the kitted wire mesh used in making mist
eliminator. We provide custom manufactured knitted wire mesh
specified by the client. Typical stainless steel, polypropylene
mesh are maintained in inventory. Other alloy steels and polymeric
materials are available by special order. Extremely high surface
area units by co-knitting of stainless steel and multifilament glass fiber or
PTFE fiber are available by special order. We are able to provide technical
input for material selection to the customers.
Hualai knitted wire mesh may be made from most metals and plastics
i.e. SS304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321, 310S, 201, Duplex 2205, 316Ti,
904L, Monel, Nickel, Alloy 20, Copper, P.T.F.E., H.D.P.E., P.P.,
co-knit of 316L + PTFE, alloy 20 + PTFE, 304+PTFE, 904L + PTFE,
304+glass fiber, 316L + glass fiber, 904L + glass fiber, 316L+PP
etc. and other metals, alloys or plastic which can be drawn or
extruded.

month for customers that need to pack their own separation,
filtration, or insulation devices. They are delivered in cartons
(for small quantity and urgent need), on pallets (for big quantity
and sea shipping) and in wooden boxes (for some special mesh)

Usually a fast delivery within 3 days can be expected if the order
is not too big nor too complex. Knitted wire mesh demister
performance is evaluated on the basis of efficiency, pressure drop,
and corrosion resistance. Efficiency is a well-characterized
property of a knitted wire mesh mist eliminator. It is primarily a
function of droplet size, wire size, surface area of the mesh, pad
thickness and physical properties of the system.
