Metal Pall Ring Characteristic:
The total area of the opening is about 35% of the whole ring area.
As a result of opening windows on the ring wall, the distribution
of gas and liquid in the packing bed and the mass transfer
performance are greatly improved compared with that in the raschig
ring. People have made plenty of study of its performance, so pall
ring is still one of the main random packing used at present.
